Are you travelling to the Emerald Isle for a short break?
Why not have us pick you up at the Dublin airport with a relaxing chauffeur service?
There are plenty of things to see and do in Dublin city alone. After all, it is the capital city of Ireland and the home of the black stuff, the world-famous Guinness stout.
A visit to Dublin wouldn’t be the same without a visit to the Guinness Storehouse, where you can learn how they make Guinness, well almost everything, they don’t tell you what their secret ingredient is.
The Guinness storehouse is a museum-style venue designed around a pint glass in the centre of the floor. You will learn how to pour the perfect pint, and they will give you a certificate of achievement.
You may also like to visit Trinity College to view the Book of Kells.
It was written in the 8th century by the Christian monks on the island of Iona off the northern coast of Scotland, and it ended up in a monastery in Kells north of Dublin after a Viking attack on Iona.
It is one of, if not the oldest and possibly the best-written manuscripts ever produced.
It is now stored in Trinity College for safekeeping.
Another great place to visit while in Dublin is Dublin Castle.
It was the home of the British Government while Ireland was under its control for almost 800 years.
It was originally built as a medieval castle before it was transformed in
the early 19th century into a Georgian style home for the viceroy of the British
Today it is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in Dublin.
